Is Greers Ferry a Beautiful Lake?

 Greers Ferry Lake is a beautiful Lake! It's almost like two lakes in one by its shape. Interestingly, I can tell you that this is a beloved lake from speaking with the many of the customers who order this map. In fact, a few years ago, I was asked to allow this map image be printed in a regional Greers Ferry magizine. I was amazed by the response for the printing in the magazine. In the waters of this Greers Ferry Lake Map, I try to make the map interesting by hiding tiny little things in the waters. Folks start looking for them and can't stop. 

I love to add the local waterfowl flying over the lake. It almost looks like they are floating. Also, if you have a point of interest, like a lake house, I can add a star and wording to indicate its location.

I'm working on a map of  Telllico Lake located in Tennessee. I have never been to this lake. I did some research and the lake is 16,000 acres. It is a very clean lake and has over 350 miles of shore line, that would take you a while to walk...  Interestingly, I add fish jumping around in most of my painted lake maps. Normally, I will add a large mouth bass or two, or three. I try to add interest and make it more than a map. I like to say they are treasured map.

Bait humor

 Hey, before I get in to "Baitoons", I wanted to shown my current project. It's a map Rathbun Lake. I bet you have never been to this lake? Rathbun Lake is 11,000 acres and is located in southren Iowa. Bald Eagles can be found at the lake, checkout the fly over by the bald eagle. 

Today on Baitoons, I focused more on humans and not so much on bobbers. I tried to figure-out which one I liked the best, But it's a hard choice. I think Marge is pretty funny....enjoy!

 I'm blowing off some more creative! It's definitly a hodge podge of "baitoons" today...from bait spray to gender rules at home. Where else on the internet can you get such a span of humor? Baitoons

 I've been doing this blog since 2011, a total of 516 posts. Intrestingly, there has been a total of 325,000 visits. I now average about 1,100 visits a month or, 250-300 visits a week. I haven't allowed Google to run ads on the site because I see it as a fun site for me, a place to blow off some creative and make bobbers great again. My goal is to post about two times a month and boy that's hard sometimes. I'm not sure how much longer that I will continue, but enjoy while you can. Here's a few more "baitoons".

Fishing Cartoons

 My fishing cartoons are about things that you have never thought about. I normally do cartoons about bait. why? Because bait cartoons can be funny. Also, my goal is to make bobbers great again! Think about it, what if a bait had a mullet or a bobber in the tackle box that was a stud or a worm fart.
