Custom Lake Decor Maps

I DON'T ALWAYS DO MAPS, but when I do, they are treasured maps. I just completed this 20x40, custom lake map of Lake Washington located in Minnesota. It's a beautiful lake with lots of wildlife.

Not only are walleyes common, but large and smallmouth bass, crappie, blue gill, and northern pike are too. You will find much wildlife/waterfowl around the lake such as eagles, osprey, cranes, otter, beaver and my favorite, loons. In fact, I added a couple of loons on the map along with fish, and Canadian Geese. Interesting, I always hide a tiny mermaid to the waters of all my lake map paintings that folks love to search for.
Also, you can add a star to your favorite spot. If you would like to see more and read about my treasured maps go to LeoLakes.com.  We have Lake house maps, and vintage style maps, that make great gifts for the lake house. If we don't have your lake, a custom map can be produced, check us out.

Remember: Life is short, get away from the big screen and get on a big stream.

BIG LAKE DEDOR MAPS

BIG LAKE DEDOR MAPS, I did this big map of Center Hill Lake for a customer that has a lake house overlooking the lake. I like the photo of the Canadian Goose flying over the lake! Oh yeah, the studio is kind of messy, but it is the season! If you don't see your lake, no problem. I do custom Lake Maps, too.

Paddle over to my website, LeoLakes.com. I paint beautiful lake, river and bay decor maps.

Folks are discovering that these decor maps are wonderfully unique gifts that become family heirlooms. Oh yeah, I hide things in the lake waters, such as a tiny mermaid/fish. Folks love to search for them. I call my maps, treasured maps because most folks have that special body of water that they treasure. My treasured maps make a great Christmas gifts for the fisherman, lake lover, or Lake house.

As you can see, my maps make a great gift.  Orders are picking up during the holidays, so order soon. Click here www.LeoLakes.com for more information.

Just remember: "Life is short, get away from the big screen and get on a big stream".

Trail building in the woods

Thirty years ago, me and my wife Karen, played Lewis and Clark. We cleared a path through the “Ten Acre Woods” to the creek. I know, what a great wife and she likes my tractor. Anyway, over the years the path has become overgrown. Today, we are back to road building.

This is Eloise. Hopefully we will be able to ride Eloise back to the creek at some point.

The terrain is very rough and hilly. Unfortunately, camera images just don't show how hilly it really is. This photo below shows the path that we have cleared.

While clearing the path, we ran across an old trash pile. It appears to go back to the 40s, 50s, and 60s. I found some bottles and must say that I recognize some of the brands. Can you find the "Champagne of Beers" bottle?
Eloise is ready to start down the path. However, it will take a few weeks or even months before the trail is completed because of the weather and it's busy season for my business, Leo Lakes Decor Maps.

Believe it or not, a road went through here years ago and it shows how much cutting that I need to do.
Stay tuned, I will provide updates. By the way, checkout my lake decor maps at LeoLakes.com
